Just thought I'd share and experience with y'all. I was at a rally. A guy was asking a bunch of us how to clean his coat and shine it up. It was new and he wanted to keep it looking new. I told him the best way to clean, condition, and insure it's usefulness was to tie it to the back of his bike and go fer a ride on a gravel road for a few miles. Gets the bugs right off!! As far as shine goes, motor oil works great. He thought I was kidding.........

I'll bet that dude wasn't in a lot of danger of getting too many bugs on his coat anyway...
