Have you ever noticed that even on your worst days ever...that after getting on a bike...(for me on the back of one)...that it can just makes you forget everything else? I can't wait to get out there riding...I have a whole years worth of bad days to forget!

That's such a nice inspiring thing to hear and I'm glad that you are well and back up and riding.

i was in a motorcycle accident a year ago march; after being bed-ridden for 6 weeks, i rode to physical therapy every day...sure as heck hurt when i got off it, but to have that feeling of freedom (not to mention the gratification of thinking, they may have broken my bones, but they will never take riding away from me) is priceless...its the best therapy...

Hi Shasha, I could'nt agree with you any more. Whenever I have one of those days from hell, I hop on my bike with with absolutely no destination in mind and within minutes a grin from ear to ear appears on my face. All my troubles seem to miraculously disappear. It's just the best stress reliever ever invented.

I guess that all depends on which edge you're talking about, no? An office worker who's daily crunching numbers might get on a bike and be happy to be living "on the edge" by the mere fact he's ou  more...

Shasa, when you get right down to it and forget all the hoorah about what makes a biker, what brand or type you ride, how many rallies you go to etc, Your feelings about bikes are what it's all about. Getting on the road and concentrating on nothing else but the bike, the road, and the ride.

Makes sense to me....
left cape cod just after 6:30 am on Saturday. The temp hovered under 40 and the light rain put just enough of a coating to keep me too cold to worry about the gale winds blowing as I rode over the bridge.. the couple hundred miles to salisbury beach gave me windburn on the right side of my face that luckily was matched on my left on the ride home to falmouth..
I for sure didn't worry about anything going on in my life but getting dry and warm.. oh yaaa!
saddle up and le  more...
